The Happenings: Local Reggae News –
Reggae revivalist JESSE ROYAL gave a fantastic performance at Chop Suey on Thursday night. He was the opening act for THE SKINTS, however, he walked away with a bunch new fans last night. He performed his hits including Generation and Lion Order, his collaboration with Protoje, and he even gave us a little bit of Chronixx’s Skankin’ Sweet.
NEXT WEEK is going to be on and poppin’!! We start out on Wednesday, June 5th with PATO BANTON and the New Generation is at Nectar Lounge along with Lion of Judah Band. Then KRANIUM and JADA KINGDOM performs at Nectar Lounge on Friday, June 7th, followed byKONSHENS at the Red Lounge on Saturday, June 8th. And, lastly, we have CLINTON FEARON& BOOGIE BROWN BAND EP RELEASE PARTY at Nectar Lounge on June 8th.
